Monday Moment: Starting now

Chinese tree proverb w tag

I think one of life’s greatest de-motivators is the sense that we shouldn’t do something because it’s too little, too late, or both. That’s rarely the case, though, and certainly not reason enough to do nothing if there’s something that can still be done (which there almost always is). We all need a little kickstart on Mondays, and this one reminds us that we are always starting with right now. What we think could have been if we’d gotten going earlier is irrelevant, and dwelling on that takes time and energy away from what is possible now. Start where you are, and you may be amazed at where you can go.
